Winner of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award 2008, the Morgenstern Trio has rapidly established itself as one of this generation’s most accomplished and versatile chamber ensembles. Formed in 2005 at the Folkwang Academy is Essen, Germany, it has appeared in international concerts and festivals to rave reviews, including the Pablo Casals Festival in France and the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland. The Trio was recently invited to participate in the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO) “Rising Stars” series and made its debut during the 2009-2010 season at major concert halls in Paris, VIenna, Amsterdam and Brussels. The series is offered at $80 for all four performances - a savings of $40 over the individual ticket price. Beginning November 15, remaining individual tickets are available at $30.
We are currently in our donor priority period. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, October 2 at 9 am.
