To Host Spotlight on Young Musicians

May 14 at 7 p.m.



(West Palm Beach, FL – April 26, 2010)  The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will host the annual SPOTLIGHT ON YOUNG MUSICIANS featuring hundreds of talented children and teens from Palm Beach County.



A Kravis Center Community Outreach Event produced in partnership with the School District of Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach Music Educators’ Association and the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County, Inc., SPOTLIGHT ON YOUNG MUSICIANS will bring together hundreds of local students to perform under the guidance of our County’s finest conductors.



The participating groups will include the Handbell Honors Choir, the Elementary Honors Chorus, the Middle School Honors Chorus, the Middle School All-District Concert Band and the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County’s Symphony Orchestra.



The music-filled event will be held on Friday, May 14, at 7 p.m. in the Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of show.
