Joins THE BEACH BOYS for
Kravis Center Performance
Beloved surfing songs featured in April 4th concert
(West Palm Beach, FL – March 16, 2010) Actor and musician John Stamos will join the Beach Boys when they come to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, April 4th at 8 p.m.
Known for rich vocal harmonies and songs about cars, dating and surfing in the California sun, the Beach Boys defined a style known as “surf music.” Fans familiar with their music may recognize John Stamos playing drums in such videos as Kokomo and Summer of Love.
Stamos’ career in music, television, film and stage has spanned over 20 years. He started on the hit soap General Hospital and later segued to the popular ABC series Full House. He eventually joined the casts of ER and the ABC comedy Jake in Progress, among other numerous television roles and cameos. On Broadway, Stamos starred in the Tony Award-winning NINE, as well as in such hit musicals as How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret and, most recently, the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Bye Bye Birdie. In addition, Stamos has occasionally toured with the Beach Boys since 1985, and directed popular music videos including Hot Fun in the Summertime.
The Beach Boys perform live at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Sunday, April 4 at 8 p.m. Tickets $20-$60.
