Faces & Places Palm Beach is an exhibit open for tours by school children and adults that identifies through maps
and images the eight countries from which the greatest number of Florida residents originate as determined by the 2000 census: Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Faces & Places Palm Beach was created with help from the School District of Palm Beach County, the Norman B. Leventhal Map
Center at the Boston Public Library and the generosity of J. Thomas
and Lavinia W. Touchton. The Norman B. Leventhal Map Center at the Boston Public Library has been created as a partnership between the Boston Public Library, The Boston Public Library Foundation, Kravis Center Life Trustee Norman B. Leventhal, and the Mapping Boston Foundation.
